Peace Like a River original painting

We are especially blessed with beautiful spring-fed rivers in our state. My husband David and I have kayaked some of them and took inner tubes down others. Floating mindlessly in ice cold water along a lush canopy of trees for what seems like miles and miles. Nothing "feels like summer"' like a cold river on a hot day.
