Summer Breeze original coastal painting

Palms and the number three are special to me.

A palm tree was the first painting I made in the sixth grade that got positive feedback from my teacher. After that, I was so motivated, I painted watercolor palm trees all the time. (Years later, I was stunned and thrilled to find one of those first palm tree paintings among my mom's things after she died.) I'm still a ways from perfecting them.

The number three is significant to me because it reminds me of the Trinity and of my three precious, all-grown sons, whom I adore.

You can almost feel the slight breeze off the shore in this one.
