What is it about shells that beg us to hunt them and dig them out of the sand? Is it the colors, texture, markings or shape? I can't think of one trip home from the beach that I didn't bring back a handful of treasures. It makes me happy to see them in glass vases around the house and I won't let David throw out the ones stored in the garage.
Painting this stash of shells for the summer collection was both fun and challenging.
